Signed for the pool, the team of his birthplace,on his seventeenth birthday,April 1992, he was a member of the mini World Cup team that carried off the trophy at Wembley. | ||
| Only won one England cap, probably due to his toughness which frightened the officials as well as the players,but collected a case load of club honours including a 4 league championship, 2 FA Cups and a European Cup winners medal before helping Swansea out of Division 3 in 1978/9, his final season of league football. | ||
