| Frank played for 22 consecutive seasons in the Football League, although he never got to play in a Wembley Cup Final; being a semi final loser in 1968 with Huddersfield in the League Cup and twice in the FA Cup with Leicester (1974) and Southampton in 1984. | ||
| He ended his career in the top flight with an 8 - 2 win over Coventry on 28th April 1984, scoring his 150th goal; it was the biggest victory in his football career. Finally, in 1988, Frank quit the professional game and turned out for several non league club, before developing his After Dinner Speaking. |
