| Brian was born and bred in Doncaster and educated at De La Salle College, Sheffield. Upon telling the careers master that he had half a mind to work for the Coal Board he received the reply.... "That should be more than adequate" |
| During a life sentence at British Coal, he developed a warped sense of humour and perfected the art of becoming invisible in the afternoon. |
| He is very well known on the circuit as "The Man from the Coal Board" and has entertained the full spectrum of organisations from The Royal Variety Club to The Institute of Funeral Directors! He has spoken alongside Celebrities, Sportsmen and Members of Parliament and his work includes everything from compering a fashion show, to cabaret on Cruise Liners, to live commentary at Air Shows. |
| His material is suitable for all occasions and he will personalise his speech to suit your needs. (He always likes to give the Chairman a mention!) |
An Irish Mother and a lifetime at British Coal have given Brian a unique sense of humour, which makes him the ideal man to round off your next Social, Sporting or Corporate event with a laugh. |

THE THINGS THEY SAY.... |
Hull Golf Club. "Without a doubt one of the best evening's entertainment we have ever had" |
The Institute of Chartered Accountants. "I could not have made a better choice of speaker than Brian. His stories and jokes were excellent for the mixed company and perfect for the occasion, and his tailoring of some of the material to local knowledge and Top Table guests clearly showed his professionalism. I thought his performance was brilliant and the feedback from others at the dinner has been nothing but praise" |
The Institute of Measurement and Control. "As Chairman, during the last twenty years or so I have attended the Dinner on most occasions and this is the first time I have witnessed a standing ovation for an After Dinner Speaker" |
Pontefract Round Table. "The evening was a huge success thanks to your excellent contribution" |
Rotary Club of Wortley. "I write to say how much I enjoyed your speech at our Gentleman's Evening. This was a tremendous success and there were many complimentary comments about your contribution. I shall be delighted to pass on your details to Rotary colleagues for future events. Once again thanks for your superb presentation." |
The Denbighshire Union of Golf Clubs. "Many, many thanks for a marvellous evening. Your excellent speech is still talked about here, I only wish I could remember the jokes! Many of the visiting Captains have asked me for your details, so I look forward to seeing you in this area again soon." |
Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Brian was a great success at our Dinner last night. He hit exactly the right note for a professional dinner with ladies present" |
