| Bill Beckett has been in the entertainment industry for over thirty-five
years. He began working as a standup comedian in small nightclubs,
graduating to hotels in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe. While appearing at
the Hollywood Crescendo he was approached by an agent who suggested
he tried television commercials. After a period a six months his
career took off dramatically. At one time he had ten major television
commercials on the air at one time. |
| Bill has worked with such notables as Jack Benny and Arthur Hill.
He has also appeared with sports personalities Billie Jean King, Bobby
Riggs and golfing legend Lee Trevino. His very likeable, strong laid
back personality has also brought him acting success in America where
he has appeared in such films as "Funny Lady", along with
popular TV series like "Kojak" and "McMillan He was also
the voice of Kentucky fried chicken, having appeared in over 200
commercials for them. |
| He also teaches classes in improvisational comedy, stand-up comedy and television commercials. He is also the author of the fast selling book, "how to get your child into television commercials". |
